Biography

Deepak Bhanuse is one of the promising flute artists from Pune, Maharashtra (India). He is privileged to get his flute tutelage under the legendary flautist, Pt. Keshav Ginde.

Shri. Deepak is fortunate to have interacted with Pandit Nath Neralkar, the great classical vocalist and to get training from him in vocal music. With exposure to the classical music, he found his interest in the Bansuri, the instrumental music. He received his primary lessons of flute from Guru Pt. Shripad Kulkarni. After completing his Bachelor's in Music, he received his masters’ degree in music from Lalit Kala Kendra, Dept. Of  Fine Arts, from  Pune University under the guidance of his Guru, Pt. Keshav Ginde (Venu Gandharva ) from Pune.

He has been trained in Pt. Pannalal Ghosh tradition by his guru Pt. Keshav Ginde who has guided him in mastering his techniques and to get good command over Bansuri.  It is because of the combination of vocal music and Bansuri (flute) that Deepak has evolved himself with a unique expression in music.

Deepak has contributed his music for film industry as well. He has interest in theater as well. His experiments at the theater level from music point of view are well received and well acclaimed by many. He is among a very few who play Keshav Venu, a specially designed flute by Pt. Keshav Ginde.
